About Me

Dr. Elizabeth Koo Edwards is a Substance Abuse Professional and a Psychotherapist specializing in individual, couples and family therapy, as well as substance abuse professional (SAP) process. She maintains a private practice in both Santa Fe Springs and La Mirada, California.

With over 24 years experience as a marriage, family and child therapist, and as a graduate of Fuller Graduate School of Psychology specializing in individual, couples and family therapy, she is currently serving as private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients.   Among her areas of expertise are:

In addition to being a prominent relationship therapist, Dr. Edwards has presented at National conferences and to general audiences speaking on the topics of relationships, stress management, mood disorders, post-traumatic stress disorders, and parenting skills.

Dr. Edwards is an interactive, cognitive behavioral, solution-focused, inspiration model psychotherapist. Her therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. She integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, she works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
